Why Saferadar

SafeRadar Research offers unique 3D scanning apertures based on irregularly distributed antenna arrays. These arrays are optimized to minimize ambiguous directions for several sources available. Here it is noteworthy that both trivial an non-trivial DOA ambiguities. In addition to this also the TX-antennas employs scanning to reduce the number of possible sources. Specifically, this is of importance when stationary objects are extracted (used for localization and ORO detection).

Lannik 60GHz

In the field of measuring mm-accuracy and vital sign the 60 GHz radar from Raytelligance is an excellent selection. From various projects, SafeRadar has shown that this radar and using the 77/79 GHz radar from SafeRadar it is very easy to estimate characterstics from using conventional spectrogram to more sophisticated methods like Relax.

77/79GHz 4D scanning Medium range radar

Lannik One

SafeRadar Research offers a novel 3D scanning short/medium range radar called Lannik one.

This 77/79 GHz radar is unique since it offers wide field of view (FOV) in both azimuth and elevation where the DOA estimates are unambigious and very accurate (1 degree and 5 degrees @ 20 dB SNR, respectively). The unambigous FOV is +-60 and +- 45 degrees along the horizonal and vertical scan respectively. The detection range is about 120 m to vehicles (RCS 20 dBsm)

The Lannik one radar system is easy to use where the radar is controlled via an ethernet channel where also the radar data is streamed through

77/79GHz 4D Imaging Long Range Radar

Lannik Two AD and Lannik Two

SafeRadar Research offers a novel 3D scanning long range radar called Lannik two and Lannik two AD

This 77/79 GHz radar is unique since it offers wide field of view (FOV) in both azimuth and elevation where the DOA estimates are unambigious and very accurate (0.5 degree and 2 degrees @ 20 dB SNR, respectively). The unambigous FOV is +-60 and +- 45 degrees along the horizonal and vertical scan respectively. The detection range for Lannik 2 and Lannik 2 AD is about 180 m and 250m to vehicles (RCS 10 dBsm), respectively

The Lannik one radar system is easy to use where the radar is controlled via an ethernet channel where also the radar data is streamed through

120GHz

Started with a Vinnova Project during 2020-2022. Due to Vinnova outcome we focus on own antenna development and behind the bumper installation. The antenna development is regarding both waveguide versions and horn antennea (as refererence)
